An intimate Virginia Beach wedding

Sarah & Brennan’s love story is one out of a story book. Friends since high school, these two soulmates could not be more perfect for each other. They both attended Virginia Tech, where they each had different relationships but remained the best of friends. When Brennan was deployed, they wrote letters back and forth to stay in touch with each other, and eventually fell in love. I shot their engagement session last year and have been counting down to this day ever since.

They got married at Sarah’s family river house and the day could not have been more perfect. Literally. It was one of those weddings where things just made sense— the couple, the location, the weather, the friendship. Every photo I took, I fell in love with and it made me love these humans that much more.

Their love is the kind you read about since you were little, and to be there to witness them commit to forever is something I still get emotional over. I love you both with all of me and can’t wait for a lifetime of happiness for the two of you!
